News of the World has obtained a copy the ammendment to Michael’s death certificate. The ammendement clearly states the cause of death as homicide.

Hopefully this means that “Dr.” Conrad Murray is well on his way to being arrested and charged in Michael’s murder.
Will Murray’s arrest make Michael’s family, friends & fans feel any better? Doubtful. Hopefully Murray isn’t able to cop a ridiculous plea and walk away scot free. In addition to being punished for what he did to Michael, Murray can be used to set an example to doctors everywhere who bend over backwards to give the rich and famous whatever drugs they want.

HOMICIDE!!
From E! Online:
According to a published report citing a law enforcement official close to the case, the popster died as the result of criminal wrongdoing, making it likelier than ever that his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, will now face involuntary manslaughter charges.
Meanwhile, E! News has obtained a search warrant affidavit unsealed today in Houston that quotes Los Angeles County Coroner’s officials as saying Jackson had lethal levels of propofol in his system when he died.
“Toxicology analysis shows Michael Jackson had lethal levels of propofol in his blood,” reads the court document.
Per the affidavit, Murray told the LAPD he’d been treating the 50-year-old singer for insomnia for six weeks and giving him 50 milligrams of the powerful anesthetic intravenously every night.
The doctor not only acknowledged that he obtained and administered propofol on June 25, the morning Jackson died, but he also admitted to leaving the King of Pop under the influence of the drug when he left the room to tend to other business.
The plot thickens.
According to Murray’s account, Jackson was having trouble sleeping the night of June 24. Noticing that the Moonwalker was forming what he believed was an addiction, the doctor claimed he had been trying to wean him off propofol for some time with little success and, as a result, initially withheld the drug traditionally used only in hospitals and monitored by an anesthesiologist.
Instead, he gave Jackson the milder sedative Valium at 1:30 a.m. With Jackson still awake, he next tried giving him a shot of lorazepam at 2 a.m. followed by midazolam. When those failed to have any effect, Murray said he then decided to give him 25 milligrams of propofol, which induced sleep right away.
But in perhaps the affidavit’s biggest bombshell, the cardiologist admitted to detectives that he left Jackson alone to go make phone calls to his Houston office and family members. When he returned, Murray found Jackson had stopped breathing. He immediately began performing CPR as one of the entertainer’s employees dialed 911.
Such admissions don’t bode well for the doc, whom police are considering charging with involuntary manslaughter. However, while it’s now coming out that M.J. had lethal levels of the drug in his body, the L.A. County Coroner’s office still has not issued an official cause of death.
Autopsy results have been delayed indefinitely.
One thing Murray can breathe a little easier about: Per the Los Angeles Times, investigators have not discovered any evidence that the doc bought propofol under his medical license or that he had obtained it illegally, noting Jackson had apparently been prescribed the medication from several other doctors, two of whom were reportedly based in Germany.
Meanwhile, Jackson’s family is standing by for answers.
“The Jackson family has full confidence in the legal process, and commends the ongoing efforts of the L.A. County Coroner, the L.A. District Attorney and the L.A. Police Department,” family rep Ken Sunshine said in a statement Monday.
“The family looks forward to the day that justice can be served.”

Paris looks afraid, Michael looks like he’s thinking that handing that baby to President Clinton was a bad idea, Bill looks like he may well be about to drop Blanket and Prince looks like he can’t believe these silly people. Would you not love to know where Bill & Michael met up? It definitely looks like a hote room.
Great picture from this weeks OK Mag.
More than anything else that happened at the Michael Jackson service today, this moment brought it all home. Here is a daughter, missing her father, trying her best to pay tribute to him. This speaks to the kind of father that Michael was, and the bond he had with his children.
No joke, I am still a bit choked up about it.
Evan St. James jumps in: I knew I could count on you to post this!! I was unable to watch it live, but I did see clips on the 6 o’clock news. I was perfectly FINE before Paris got up there. Like you, Vic, I’m still shaken by it! That is one normal young girl. I don’t think that response would have come from a child raised in the crazed situation we’ve all been led to believe. I’m not saying Michael was all there all the time, but he did his kids good.

Michael’s three children: Prince Michael, Paris Katherine and Prince Michael II (AKA “Blanket”)

Looks like she’s going to be able to take her hand out of that horses ass, don a new wolf t-shirt, and get her ass to the Staples Center for the memorial service.
Former Jackson business associate Marc Schaffel said on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that Rowe was confirmed for VIP seats. Rowe is the “mother” (read: HOST) of Jackson’s two oldest children.
She certainly never mothered or parented them, so I’m not feeling to warm toward her. Crawl back under your rock Debbie. Coming out now is bullshit. Looks like someone wants more money!
VIP seats??? Are you kidding me right now? Blah blah blah, she gave birth to his 2 children, but let’s face it, she is no MOTHER to them and she certainly got her money out of that situation. Debbie Rowe is nothing but a pathetic hanger-on.
Those poor kids are FUCKED if they wind up with her OR Katherine Jackson. Surely there must be someone, ANYONE, younger?
Anyhoo, the service is tomorrow. I know I will be glued to my tv. Will you?
Update: Debs is no longer attending the memorial. Instead of quietly going away, she made sure to issue a statement saying it was becoming too much about her. YAWN Bitch. Yawn.
On the good side, she will be able to stay in her stunning wolf shirt for another day.
I don’t know if it’s Michael or not, mostly because he isn’t moon walking, crotch grabbing or shouting SHAMON when this was filmed, but it definitely was something.
Kudos to whoever noticed, thought to put it up on YouTube, and took the time to add some scary music!
Watch it and tell us- what do YOU think it was?
Evan St. James says: Hmm… I always want to believe in this stuff, but usually the opposite ends up happening. Unless I’m the one who shot it, (and I have TAPS in there trying to recreate a shadow or something…), then I’m always extremely skeptical. Neat though. Something to think about it.

Apparently Michael Jackson memorabilia is selling like hot-cakes over on ebay. I would LOVE for someone to release a rough estimate of how much money Michael memorabilia has sold for over the last week. I got the idea to look for these items after viewing several conversations on Twitter where people were tweeting about their latest purchases. Some are good, some are interesting, some are literally crap.
I poked around and found a few interesting pieces to share with you all. Click any of the green links below to see the auctions!
They made Michael Jackson tattoos??
Talk About Jumping Right On Something!
Does this really count as memorabilia?

Here is the link to apply for tickets to the Memorial: http://www.staplescenter.com/memorial.php
Michael’s memorial is being held this Tuesday at The Staples Center in Los Angeles. Contrary to previous reports, there will be no mass viewing. In fact, Michael’s body will never be at The Staples Center for the memorial. Apparently his body is being held at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills Mortuary. A determination on where to bury him has not yet been made. His family is pushing for internment at The Neverland Ranch that he loved so much, and I agree with them. Turn it in to a Graceland style venue for Michael’s fans, most of whom were deeply loyal to Michael through the years. If they could figure out a way to have some of the proceeds benefit the charities that Michael believed in, that would be even better.
Per Reuters:
Organizers have set aside a total of 17,500 tickets through an Internet-based lottery for the televised service at the Staples Center, and for a closed-circuit screening at the nearby Nokia Theater.
Within minutes of the system being announced at a news conference, the computer system crashed. Officials warned additional disruptions were likely as fans from around the world applied for tickets.
“You might want to consider watching this from the comfort of your own home,” said Los Angeles City Councilwoman Jan Perry, who is doubling as the city’s acting mayor.
A wide area around the venues in downtown Los Angeles will be blocked off for the 10 a.m. (1 p.m. EDT) event. Both local and state law-enforcement agencies have been marshaled for duty.
A local news-radio station reported that more than 1,400 officers from the Los Angeles Police Department alone have been asked to volunteer for duty on Monday and Tuesday. The LAPD, which has about 9,000 officers in total, declined to comment on the report or to reveal a staffing number.
Winners of the tickets will be contacted on Sunday and directed to pick up a pair of tickets and wristbands on Monday. No tickets will be sold. The massive demand raised the question of counterfeiting or scalping, drawing pleas from organizers for fans to act responsibly.
“For those that would try to take advantage of this, shame on them,” said Tim Leiweke, the president and CEO of AEG, the closely held entertainment concern that owns the venues and was backing Jackson’s planned comeback concerts in London.
There is some concern about who, exactly, is picking up the cost for the Memorial Service, including the security portion of the event. It would seem to me that Sony/Epic should pony up here. Not to be crass, but they have made an assload of money in the days since Michael’s death, and will continue to do so with different things that will likely be released in the near future. AEG also has a responsibility to help finance this.
The service will also be televised. Will you watch? I know I will.
He looks fine here, but it’s hard to really get a grasp on the situation from this. Having said that, I think it is highly likely that he died from having drugs given to him via IV so that he could sleep. Bad move.

Details of Michael Jackson’s will have been released after it was filed in Los Angeles this morning.
The will says Jackson left his entire estate – estimated at more than $500 million – to the Michael Jackson Family Trust. The trust will be divided between Michael’s children, his mother & several as yet unnamed charities. His father, Joseph Jackson, was omitted entirely from the will.
The most interesting thing about the will is that Michael named his mother, Katherine Jackson, as guardian of his three children, but stipulates that in the event that Katherine were unable to fulfill these duties, Diana Ross is to become their guardian. (I wonder if Diana knew that?)
His will also states that ”I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Rowe.”
The will names John Branca, Barry Siegel and John McClain as co-executors.
Branca was Jackson’s lawyer, McClain is a music executive and Siegel was Jackson’s accountant. Siegel resigned from his role as executor in 2003.
In a joint statement, Branca and McClain said: “The most important element of Michael’s will is his unwavering desire that his mother, Katherine, become the legal guardian for his three children. As we work to carry out Michael’s instructions to safeguard both the future of his children as well as the remarkable legacy he left us as an artist we ask that all matters involving his estate be handled with the dignity and the respect that Michael and his family deserve.”
